“Sectarianism: The Great Enemy of World Unity – How Jews & Christians Must Return to Divine Law”
The Crisis of Division
The world today is fractured—not just by borders, but by sects, denominations, and man-made divisions that have strayed far from the original truth given by the Most High. Both Judaism and Christianity, despite their shared roots in Divine Scripture, have splintered into countless factions, each claiming authority while undermining the very unity God commands.
The Illusion of Halacha: How Jewish Sectarianism Obscures Divine Law
Judaism today presents itself as a unified tradition, but in truth, what we call “Halacha” is simply another sectarian system—one of many competing frameworks that claim exclusive access to Torah truth. Just as Christianity splintered into Catholicism, Protestantism, and Orthodoxy, Judaism has fractured into rabbinic sects, each with its own dogmas, customs, and political hierarchies.
The Problem With “Halacha”
It’s Not a Monolith – What people call “Halacha” is really an umbrella term for contradictory rulings between Ashkenazim, Sephardim, Chassidim, Litvaks, and countless other factions. The Rambam’s laws differ from the Shulchan Aruch, which differs from Chabad minhagim—yet all claim to represent “authentic” Judaism.
Even Its Greatest Scholars Admit Its Flaws – As the Talmud itself says: “Any rabbi who does not have disagreements like the disputes of Hillel and Shammai is no rabbi at all” (Sanhedrin 88b). Translation? Disunity is baked into the system. Even the most devout Halachic Jews acknowledge that blind obedience to any single interpretation is foolish.
It Replaced Prophets With Committees – After the Temple’s destruction, Judaism shifted from Divine revelation (through prophets) to rabbinic legislation (through majority votes). The Mishna (Rosh Hashanah 2:9) admits this openly: “The law follows the majority.” But what happens when majorities err?
The Torah Was Never Meant to Be a Democracy
God did not give the Torah to be voted on or adjusted by generations of scholars. He gave it as eternal law—fixed, unchanging, and binding. Yet today, “Halacha” functions more like case law, subject to endless revisions, customs, and political compromises.
The Torah commands one justice system (Deuteronomy 17:8-11), yet we have competing batei din.
The Torah demands one altar, one priesthood, yet we have multiple “kosher” certifications fighting for authority.
The Torah warns against adding to or subtracting from the commandments (Deuteronomy 13:1), yet entire volumes of “fences” and chumras have been legislated.
Here is the proof, in those who follow this sect called Halacha, say that you must wear a black hat or kippa and tell their daughters to only marry a Jew with a black hat or kippa. The black hat comes from about 250 years ago in Europe and the Kippa comes from the Pope.
So according to them, to be a good Jew, must look like a European or Roman Catholic….preposterous!
In Judaism, there is no singular, Biblically unified authority. Some follow Halacha, others Chabad, while many debate the rulings of the Rambam (Maimonides)—yet there is only one true Lawgiver: the Most High. The Torah was never meant to be dissected into competing schools of thought but obeyed as one Divine standard.
In Christianity, the schisms run even deeper—Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, and hundreds of denominations all claim to follow Christ, yet their divisions have led to centuries of conflict, theological disputes, and weakened spiritual power.
Sectarianism is the poison that weakens faith, divides nations, and prevents the restoration of God’s Kingdom on Earth.
The Scriptural Warning Against Division
The Bible is clear: God despises division.
“Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.” (Matthew 12:25)
“Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we faithless to one another?” (Malachi 2:10)
Yet today, religious institutions prioritize tradition over truth, dogma over unity, and sectarian identity over brotherhood.
The Empire of David: A Kingdom Beyond Sects
The true Kingdom—the Empire of David—was never meant to be divided by man-made labels. It was founded on universal principles:
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Leviticus 19:18, Mark 12:31)
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” (Matthew 7:12)
“Justice, mercy, and faithfulness” as the weightier matters of the Law. (Matthew 23:23)
This is the only foundation for world unity—not theological debates, not denominational supremacy, but shared moral law under the sovereignty of the Most High.
The UPWARD Movement: Restoring Divine Order
The UPWARD Movement rejects sectarianism entirely. It calls all people—Jews, Christians, and seekers of truth—to:
Abandon man-made divisions and return to the Law of the Most High.
Unite under the banner of the Kingdom of David, where justice, brotherhood, and divine authority reign.
Live by the Golden Rule, proving faith through action, not labels.
This is not another religion. This is the restoration of God’s original vision—one law, one people, one King.
The Empire of David: Beyond Sectarianism
The coming Kingdom will not be built on rabbinic consensus or denominational politics, but on the undiluted Law of the Most High.
No more “Ashkenazi vs. Sephardi” customs – Just one Torah, applied equally.
No more “Chassidim vs. Litvaks” – Just one people, united under their King.
No more “Daas Torah vs. academic scholarship” – Just truth, revealed plainly.
This is the vision of the prophets:
“I will restore your judges as at first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.” (Isaiah 1:26)
“My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall walk in My rules and be careful to obey My statutes.” (Ezekiel 37:24)
The time for sectarian games is over. The Kingdom of David is rising—not as another faction, but as the end of factions.
